The Jayco Jay Flight has been one of the best-selling travel trailers in North America for many years. It has earned that spot by combining sensible pricing with family-friendly layouts and durable construction. Here are five features that stand out.
Jayco designs the frame for each Jay Flight layout rather than using a one-size chassis. The A-frame runs through the main frame for added strength at the hitch, which helps the trailer tow and age well.
Jayco's truss roof system is engineered to carry far more weight than many roofs in this class. A crowned roof sheds water rather than letting it pool, which helps prevent leaks.
The lineup ranges from light single-axle models to larger bunkhouse floor plans with multiple slide-outs. Double-size bunks, outdoor kitchens and dinettes that convert to beds make it easier to bring the whole family.
The Jay Flight comes with a two-year limited warranty and a three-year structural warranty, longer than the one-year coverage common in this price range.
Jayco's exterior lighting package adds side markers that flash with the turn signals, clearance lights that blink when braking and reverse lights that help when backing into a dark campsite.
If you want an affordable, well-supported trailer for weekend and summer trips, the Jay Flight belongs on your shortlist. Compare current floor plans and prices with your local dealer.
